Rule has a ready-made integration with Magento that makes it easy for you to import your customer and order data from Magento to Rule. After that, you can set up automation flows in Rule, such as Thank you for purchase, Retention, Winback, and much more. The Magento integration is free to use for Rule's customers and you can activate it yourself with a few simple steps.

Installation

1. To install Rule in Magento, go to our Github page and follow all our installation instructions
2. Log in to your store in Magento Admin > Click on 'Stores' in the left menu > Press 'Settings' / 'Configuration'
3. 
4. The next step is to create a new API key inside Rule. You go to 'Settings' > 'Developer' > Create new API key > Name the API key > Copy the API key https://app.rule.io/v5/#/app/settings/developer
5. Press Rulemailer and configure it as you want. Under the API key, insert the key you created inside Rule just now
6. In the settings above, you determine which data should be transferred to Rule when a purchase is made.
7. Press 'Save Config'
8. Data will start to appear in Rule immediately after the first order

If you choose to remove all fields in the configuration above. No data will be sent to Rule, but to ensure that customers receive their receipts even though no data is sent to Rule, receipts will be sent as transactional emails.

When you are done with your settings, make a test call to Rule for all your flows, then you will be able to see in your account in Rule which data you receive and to which tag.
